David Levin, Founder and President

David has been in the Information Technology (IT) industry for over 29 years. After beginning his career with a Fortune 500 company, he worked with several networking companies, then decided, about 20 years ago, to start a full service, Houston-based IT Company. Over time he built the business around the concept of the boutique IT business. In 2013 he founded Cloudspace USA, which has grown into a successful cloud computing company based in Houston. When asked about his goals, David says: “All I want to do is make a difference in a company from an IT standpoint.”

Rick Ruiz, Technical Support

Rick has been working in IT since 2007. He started off as a Desktop Support Technician and is now a Virtual Operations/Network Administrator/Technician with numerous certifications including: A+; Dell PowerEdge Server Technical v2 0812; Dell Networking Technical Specialty; and Implementing, Managing & Maintaining a MS Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure.

Gordon White, Sales Executive

Gordon is an experienced IT professional with over 27 years working in the industry. Having grown up in Houston, it was natural that, with his focus on the electronics industry, he would join Houston’s Compaq Computer Corporation in 1987. Earning his degree in electronics by going to school at night, he decided to transition to field service work setting up and maintaining small business and enterprise level computer networks, his area of expertise today. Gordon went on to earn his CNE and MCSE certification in the mid 90’s, and managed his own IT Service/Sales business before joining David Levin in 2011 to help provide solutions to complex computer network issues. Internet computing is an exciting advance in technology to him because it has helped to bring Enterprise technology to the small business space. When he is not resolving complex IT problems, Gordon enjoys fishing from his kayak anywhere there is water and spending time with his family.

James Christiansen, Jr., Network Tech

Jim Christiansen has worked in the computer services industry since 1990 when, after graduating with a BBA in Computer Information Systems, he began his career with IBM.

From IBM, Jim moved to financial services firm Dun & Bradstreet where he won numerous company awards for outstanding performance. He then advanced his career working with computer service firms first on implementing Help Desks, tech support services, onsite installations, then moving to infrastructure support, and implementation and support for Windows systems for desktop and laptops.

Jim has worked on a wide variety of IT implementation projects including systems for large information services and integrated hospital networks, as well as small and mid-sized independent businesses and joined CloudSpace USA in 2012.

Steven Williams, Information Technology Analyst

A highly qualified information technology professional, Steven Williams has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Dell certified in multiple categories, such as servers, switches and backup solutions, Steven’s experience in customer support encompasses a network infrastructure, server and workstation virtualization, database administration and programming.

After graduating with a Technical Degree in Computer Science, Steve began his IT career with Houston-based Devon Energy where he administered a 150 user, multi-protocol Windows 2000 network operation system supporting DOS, and Windows 95/NT/2K/XP/UNIX systems. After 14 years with the firm as an Information Resource Analyst, he left to join CIMA Energy where he maintained a Windows based network with state-of-the-art technology across three states as an MIS Manager before joining CloudSpace USA in 2007 where he manages the firm’s cloud-based networks.

Michael (Mike) Contello, Marketing Coordinator / Business Development Director

Mike has been in Marketing/ Sales/ Service for 40+ years; born into Entrepreneur parents’ Businesses- Telephone Communications 24/7/ 365 Answering Service  & Plumbing Service Business, and working Night Shift during High School refining professional communications skills . His passion was always Marketing He received a B.B. A. in Marketing & continued in college weekend part-time on weekend at Answering Service & gained Valuable Sales Skills in Family Wholesale Nursery Plant Business started in 1978 Selling over 100K plants & baskets / & Delivery Seasonal Flowering Plants grown by Master Grower great uncle to Retailers in the Houston Market.

After graduating college Mike started in Sales position, specialty training for B2B copiers, expanding industry experience in Household Case Goods & Bedding, Indoor Filtration Systems, to personal Insurance Products traveling through Central & East Texas including launching 2 new products for company Roll-Out in late 80’s. During college Mike invented a pet accessory consumer product pursued which gained valuable experience of “partnership experience” / Product Refinement/ Packaging to Production Manufacturing & what it takes to market a product nationally. Mike funded & was partner in Cellular Rental Business in early 90’s, benefitted in a few residential development investment deals, then pursued Real Estate industry initially in commercial real estate focusing in Retail Strip Centers & keeps his Real Estate license active.

Currently Mike is Marketing Coordinator/ Business Development Dir. , & Support Administrator for company of Cloud Space USA who helps Small to Mid-Sized Business w/ Full Service IT services & now affordable & Available the Cloud Based Computer Network IT Solution that helps companies focus on serving their clients and growing their businesses’ while saving resources.
