The Always Evolving World of Cloud Computing

Home / Information on Cloud Services / The Always Evolving World of Cloud Computing

Sometimes it can be difficult to keep up with the ever changing technology world. But right now is a very exciting time for business computing.

As we all know, cloud computing has changed the computer world. But, like Quentin Hardy said on NYTimes.com, now cloud computing is starting to change itself, and that makes the future very bright.

How? It’s adding more computer power to more places and that’s an awesome thing for the business computing world.

Microsoft publicized this week several changes to its data storage and processing services that will make them even more powerful.

Microsoft also announced their partnership with computer hardware giant, Dell, to sell a “cloud in a box”. It is a mini-me version of Microsoft’s cloud, which they’ve named Azure. Companies can work with their own form of Azure, and when their workload increases, they can move up to the bigger version.

And other computer companies, like Hewlett Packard, are making similar announcements as well.

What does this mean for the business computing world? It means cloud computing keeps evolving. It starting to appear in even more forms and types.

This is great because there is a growing movement towards offering more flexibility in cloud computing. How is this done? By conceptualizing what were once roles of specialized hardware into more easily used and transformed software applications.

According to Fortune.com, Bracket Computing, a company founded in 2011, officially launched today with $85 million from corporate investors to rewrite cloud management. They have technology that makes it possible to run high performance corporate computing systems across several public clouds at the same time. Right now it works with Amazon Web Services, but eventually they want to enable other companies to securely manage their computing across several public clouds all at once as well. This is good because they means more competition on pricing and services.

Cloud computing had its critics in the beginning, but now it’s all the buzz and doing amazing things. It’s inexpensive, easy to use, and it’s more reliable and flexible than ever before. It’s evolving – becoming more powerful and growing bigger each day.

Cloudspace USA’s Founder and President, David Levin, said months ago about cloud computing, “It’s highly versatile. Every day I’m starting to see new things.”  He continued, “All these resources are starting to float around in ways I never thought they would.”

If you can’t keep up with it, don’t worry because Cloudspace USA is here to help you. We give small to medium sized businesses the computing power of their bigger competitors.
